The Friends of the Fine Arts Center
is an auxiliary whose purpose is fundraising for TFAC’s
children’s programming encouraging its wide reach in
the surrounding area. It is our hope that children who
are given the opportunity to experience the visual and
performing arts – the fine arts – will come to have a love
for all art forms.
Established in 1994, this organization has made
impressive regular contributions to TFAC. During Patty
Otto’s tenure as president, Friends offered a generous
grant to be matched for the purpose or hiring TFAC’s
first Executive Director. Currently focused on children’s
programming, recent successful fundraisers include
silent auctions, a Fashion Show and High Tea, and the
popular Dining with Friends, dining occasions hosted by
TFAC supporters in their homes.
