Violinist Jamie Laval, well-known as a performer, composer, arranger, and educator of Celtic music, joins pianist Elizabeth Child in performing duo works of the great composer, J.S. Bach, as well as solo works. The recital will also feature an Artist Talk.
Their backgrounds in classical music at the Victoria Conservatory of Music and The Juilliard School bring them back to the most challenging of all composers, one whose music is timeless and crosses all musical genres with its richness, beauty, and high-spirited energy.
