Meet Vivian Torrence

Born in Chicago Heights, Illinois, award-winning artist, Vivian Torrence’s work is on display in museum and corporate permanent collections across the country, and her solo exhibitions have graced the walls of museums, galleries, and colleges worldwide. The winner of numerous awards and grants, Torrence is a noted speaker, lecturer, professor, and co-author, with Nobel Laureate Roald Hoffmann, of Chemistry Imagined, Reflections on Science (Smithsonian Press, 1993).
