Dr. Elizabeth Child holds a doctorate in performance from the Julliard School, a master’s degree from the University of Michigan, and a bachelor’s degree from Converse College. Well-known for her combination of dramatic intensity and intimate communication, Beth currently operates a piano studio in Tryon.

Coffee, hot teas, and light refreshments will be provided at the Great Courses. There is no cost for the series. Seating is limited to 35 people, so attendees are asked to reserve their place in the series in advance.
