THE ARTIST'S WAY

For over 25 years, “The Artist’s Way” by Julia Cameron has assisted millions of individuals to regain a deep sense of connection with their individual wellspring of creativity. This interactive 8 week virtual course is designed to help participants identify creative blocks, and unlock creative genius. Besides engaging in assignments between sessions, participants will discuss the text as a group and complete corresponding art projects to help rebuild the bond between your daily experiences and universal creativity.
Elizabeth Goddard currently serves as the Executive Director for the Spartanburg Art Museum in Spartanburg, SC. She earned her MA in Art Education from the University of New Mexico. She has been an instructor for over 20 years teaching the visual arts to everyone from elementary children to USC Upstate students. Before Goddard relocated to Spartanburg, she was the Curator and Director of Education at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts in Grand Rapids, MI. In 2015, Goddard was awarded Museum Educator of the Year by the South Carolina Arts Education Association. She maintains a studio practice with a focus on printmaking and collage. She has been teaching The Artist Way in MI and SC for over a decade.
