Tryon's Art History
An evening of stories powered by Pecha Kucha
Sunday, November 3, 2019. 3 PM
As Tryon Fine Arts Center celebrates our 50th Anniversary, we'd like to celebrate the close-knit and passionate arts community here in Tryon.
On Sunday, November 3, other arts organizations will have a chance to tell their story in an evening of Pecha Kucha. Pecha Kucha is a storytelling format that uses 20 slides with 20 seconds of storytelling.
TFAC, Tryon Little Theater, Children's Theater Festival, Lanier Library, Upstairs Artspace, Children's Theater Festival, Tryon Arts and Crafts School, and Tryon Concert Association will each present their own Pecha Kucha.
Many of these organizations were a part of TFAC's founding in 1969; others are long-established fixtures of the Tryon arts scene. Each has a special story and engaging history to share.
Pecha Kucha will be free and open to the public. Please register below to save your seat.
Free event! Please register to ensure enough seating.
