Biennial Sculpture Show
Tryon Fine Arts Center (TFAC) announces its 2017 Biennial Sculpture Exhibit & Sale from October 15 - November 25. The 2017 show includes professional artists from North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and Virginia sculpting in a variety of mediums.
Winners were chosen from an impressive field. "Indigo" by Austin Sheppard took First Place. "Disjecta Membra" by Staton Davis was awarded Second Place. "Reverie" by Jane Jaskevich won Third Place. Entries were judged by noted sculptor Adam Adcock of Banner Elk, NC.
The 2017 Biennial Sculpture Exhibit will be on display through November 25. Exhibits are open to the public at no charge during TFAC's regular business hours: Tuesday-Friday from 10am-4pm and Saturdays from 10am-1pm. Other times my be available during special events or by request.
Arts and cultural organizations in all 100 North Carolina counties will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the North Carolina Arts Council in October with music, dance, exhibitions, fall festivals and more!
