Give to the Arts Today and Everyday
You can take steps today to ensure that we can keep arts alive by making a planned gift to the Tryon Fine Arts Center.

Here are some simple ways to give to TFAC:
Remember the Tryon Fine Arts Center in Your Will
Most planned gifts are made by will. When you write or update your will, you can include a bequest for the Tryon Fine Arts Center using one of these options:
Unrestricted Bequest
A gift that can be used where need is greatest
“I give to Tryon Fine Arts Center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) Corporation headquartered in Tryon North Carolina, the sum of $_______ or [___ percentage of my estate] for its general purposes.”
Residuary Bequest
Leaves any remainder after all other bequests have been paid.
All the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, both real and personal, I give to Tryon Fine Arts Center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) Corporation headquartered in Tryon, North Carolina, for its general purposes.
Contingent Bequest
Takes effect if a primary beneficiary(ies) predeceases the donor.
If (name of beneficiary) does not survive me, then I give to Tryon Fine Arts Center, a non-profit 501(c)(3) Corporation headquartered in Tryon. North Carolina, all [or __ percentage, or $________ amount] of the rest, residue, and remainder of my estate, for its general purposes.
[In addition to Tryon Fine Arts Center, Residuary or Contingent Bequests can be split among other charitable institutions or individuals.]
Name Tryon Fine Arts Center as a Beneficiary of Your Retirement Plan
Have you completed or updated the Beneficiaries for your retirement plan recently? You can designate Tryon Fine Arts Center as another beneficiary, should funds be available after you provide for your family. Or if your family no longer needs your retirement funds, you can direct that any remaining funds go to TFAC or other charitable organizations. You can change your Beneficiaries any time you have major changes in your life: marriage, children reaching adulthood, a new job, a grandchild’s birth, or retirement.
Use Your IRA To Make a Gift to TFAC
Taxpayers may make tax-free charitable gifts directly from their Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) to charitable organizations. If you are 70 ½ or older, you may be able to direct up to $100,000 of your annual required minimum distribution (RMD) to Tryon Fine Arts Center, which benefits our programs and reduces your taxable income.
Donor-Advised Funds and TFAC
Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are the fastest-growing area of charitable giving in the U.S. If you have a DAF or are thinking of starting one, you can name Tryon Fine Arts Center among the group of charitable organizations you wish to support.
Gifts of Stock to TFAC
You can make a gift of stock at any time to the Tryon Fine Arts Center. For instructions about stock transfers, please contact marianne@tryonarts.org or call TFAC at 828-859-8322 ext. 211 T – F 10 AM – 4 PM.
Other Ways You Can Give
