Presenting partner Tryon Concert Association (TCA) celebrates its 70th season of world-class music in the Foothills. What began in 1954 as a shared love for music among friends has grown into an impressive community effort that brings exceptional classical performances to a small town in rural North Carolina.

The TCA season kicks off on the Tryon Fine Arts Center Main Stage with the ATOS Trio. Formed in Berlin, Germany in 2003 by Annette von Hehn (violin), Thomas Hoppe (piano) and Stefan Heinemeyer (violoncello) the ATOS Trio has established itself as one of the finest piano trios performing before the public today. The trio is known for playing with the “kind of pitch-perfect unanimity of phrasing, tone, feeling and interpretation that distinguishes the finest chamber ensembles.” (Detroit Free Press).
