Tryon Fine Arts Center and its film committee is excited announce the return of the film series and its partnership with Tryon Theatre for the screening of the series in the historic cinema. The TFAC Film Series kicks off Tuesday, January 14 at Tryon Theatre and will feature Fargo, a Coen Brothers film featuring Frances McDormand. Fargo is a reality-based, black comedy crime film that Ethan and Joel Coen said is based on an actual criminal event, but they wrote a fictional story around it.
Tickets available soon and will be available online, through the TFAC Box Office, and on the night of the film at Tryon Theatre. Other films included this season are The Shawshank Redemption on February 11, The Talented Mr. Ripley on March 11, Godfather Part 2 on April 8, and No Country for Old Men on May 13.
