Adult students receive 1 hour of group instruction weekly. Darren Nicholson from Balsam Range will guest teach classes one week! Adult registration includes attendance to all PacJAM youth guest artist sessions, occurring from 4:30-5:15 on April 12 (Kenya Choir, pending), April 26 (TBA), & May 18th (Darren Nicholson).
Queen Bee and the Honeylovers is a dance band that performs classic swing, blues and Latin music. They have been voted best in Jazz 2020/21/22 in the Mountain Xpress “Best Of” poll. Their debut album, 'Asheville', celebrated their hometown's history and won them #41 on WNCW's listener-voted poll of Best Albums of 2019 as well as features on The State of Things with Frank Stasio and PBS Woodsongs. Their video for "Beacham's Curve" won Best Soundtrack at the 2019 Music Video Asheville Awards. The concert begins at 6:30 PM. Don your fairy finery, and come belly laugh, sing along, and feel the magic of Midsummer at this concert reading (and singing) of a NEW, ORIGINAL MUSICAL COMEDY by local theatre artists, Laura Depta and Stan Peal. In case of inclement weather, the event will move inside to the Veh Stage.
