Shake off the winter doldrums with some heart thumping, down-home rhythm and blues in this can’t miss annual music event at Tryon Fine Arts Center (TFAC). Chase Away the Blues will take place on Saturday, March 29 with a night full of music, food, libations and fun! Doors open at 6 pm with live music and food in the Blues Lounge and the Patrons Lounge. The main stage music will start rocking at 7 pm.
Headlining the evening will be the legendary Tinsley Ellis. Vintage Guitar describes Ellis as “One of modern blues’ greatest performers,” and Premier Guitar said Ellis is, “A legend of American blues music…An American music treasure…Ellis delivers a sermon on the power and glory of the blues.”
General Admission is $45 (live music on the Veh Main Stage)
General Admission + Food catered by TIEC in the Pavilion Blues Lounge is $65 (live music on the Veh Main Stage & Pavilion)
Patron Lounge tickets are $125 and includes food and full bar (live music in the Patron Lounge, Veh Main Stage & Pavilion)
